Today we sat down with upcoming musician Justice R straight out of Richmond VA, we caught up with her to see whats going on with her and what all her plans are for 2018 read it all below.
1) what made you want to do music
A friend of mine Qua passed away last year due to a car accident, and he always said that if he didn’t become a baller he’d be a rapper . So my music is the way i carry on his legacy. 2) who are your biggest influences
My biggest Influences are my Mother and Grandmother. They always push me to do my best.
3) what things do you hope to accomplish
I hope to accomplish anything I put my mind to . I have big dreams and I️ won’t stop until i fulfill them . 4) who are some other female artists in Richmond you want to work with
I’m not familiar with a lot of female artist in rva , but I’m open to work with anyone with a creative Style to match mine . 5) what is your biggest musical accomplishment thus far
My biggest musical accomplishment would have to reaching 18k plays on my “Ex” (Xo tour life) remix on SoundCloud
6) how has it been as a female emcee trying to break into a male dominated game
It’s actually been good , because I️ have that certain style that both male and females can rock with it hasn’t really been a challenge 7) what projects and visuals do you have coming up
I’m currently working on a tape there hasn’t been a set date for it to drop . There will be videos on the way for songs (Road Running ft bigbankquez) & Ispy remix both on SoundCloud 8) what separates you from other up and comers
I would say that my style sets me apart from other artist I have this rock start kinda swagger , but can still spit a 16 & Can even bust out in a melody 9) what's in the cards for you in 2018
